When it came to choosing vacations, there was very little middle ground between old-fashioned camping and luxury villas. People on a tight budget will have to accept that their summer vacation is under the cloth, and while it’s fun, it’s not luxurious. Nowadays, there is a wide choice and more and more people are choosing the new thing: glamping. Glamping is virtual camping, but with luxury, utility, and style thrown in for good measure. Yurt vacations are great vacation classics, but if you want to think more outside the box, staying in an old RV or camper could be the way forward for a vacation you’ll love, and kids will simply adore. Or the opportunity to relax with your loved one in a secluded place without spending a fortune.
A number of people have purchased and restored old Schumann carriages, and have made them charming and comfortable places for a romantic getaway/breakaway. Schoeman and gypsy caravans tend not to be able to accommodate many people. If you thought you wouldn’t be able to handle the idea of a caravan park vacation; Think again. How about vacationing in an old American caravan that was rescued from a traveling witch in Nevada before it was swallowed up by the desert? Or a 1960s British holiday caravan, complete with antique interiors and on-site facilities? A vacation in a camper van or RV may sound very exotic, but don’t write it off until you try it. If you’re on holiday in the UK, it gives you a little extra protection in case the weather deteriorates; There’s always room in the Airstream to play cards and you won’t get wet if you sit on the floor!
Again, if you search hard enough, you will most likely be able to find what you are looking for. If solitude and privacy is all about, then a single camper or camper in a secluded location is just for you—perhaps with the option to pitch a tent next to the caravan to accommodate kids, dogs, or belongings. If you desire the chance to mingle with like-minded souls, a location with dozens of air caravans, perhaps a bar, pool and convenience store could be the perfect choice. Frankly, escapism these days is crucial to our sanity – sometimes switching like (like house for house, with both internet connections and Sky TV) is not the way to encourage proper relaxation/rest. But when you head out on a holiday like this, with nothing to worry about other than the weather, you’ll feel like you’ve traveled many miles away from normalcy – even if you’re in a stationary caravan!
